Cernache lays 15 minutes south of Coimbra, in Central Portugal.

There are direct bus connections between Porto and Lisbon's airports and Coimbra (https://coimbra.airportshuttle.pt/), as well as numerous train lines from the cities' centers (https://cp.pt/en/).

From Coimbra, there are two hourly buses to Cernache (Line 49, 208, 209).
